Job PurposeTo design, implement and manage Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs aligned with the bank’s foundation themes and regulatory mandates in India, while ensuring rigorous partner due diligence, measurable impact, and strategic alignment with the bank’s broader sustainability goals.Key Accountabilities* Strategic Program Development: Curate and execute impactful CSR programs aligned with the bank’s CSR / DBS Foundation’s priority themes (e.g. financial inclusion, education, environment).* Partner Identification & Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage credible NGO and implementation partners with strong governance and impact track record.* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all CSR initiatives comply with Indian CSR regulations (Companies Act, Schedule VII, CSR Rules) and internal governance standards.* Impact Measurement & Reporting: Track and report social impact metrics and ensure timely submission of reports to internal and statutory bodies.* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal business and regional teams, and represent the bank in CSR forums and engagements.Job Duties & responsibilities* Understand and translate the thematic focus of the DBS Foundation and India CSR strategy into relevant, scalable programs in India.* Identify NGOs and implementation partners through robust due diligence (legal, financial, programmatic), leveraging external databases and evaluation tools.* Structure CSR projects, MoUs, and agreements, ensuring clarity in scope, timelines, budgets, and governance.* Stay abreast of evolving CSR regulations and ensure full compliance with 2% CSR mandate, Board approvals.* Create compelling impact narratives, internal dashboards, and stakeholder reports including content for the marketing team to amplify.* Conduct site visits, partner audits, and periodic reviews to ensure delivery quality and transparency.* Manage the annual CSR budget and disbursement process in coordination with Finance and Legal teams.* Engage employee volunteers and support CSR-linked internal communication campaigns.Required Experience* 10–14 years of experience in managing CSR programs in corporates, foundations of MNC banks.* Experience in identifying, vetting, and managing NGO partnerships.* Hands-on exposure to Indian CSR law, compliance, and reporting mechanisms.* Strong familiarity with impact measurement frameworks* Experience coordinating across multiple internal and external stakeholders.Education / Preferred Qualifications* Postgraduate in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Policy, Sustainability, or a related field.* Certifications in CSR, ESG, or Nonprofit Management (preferred but not mandatory).Core Competencies* Strategic Thinking* Stakeholder Management* Communication & Presentation Skills* Ethical Judgment & Integrity* Empathy and Social SensitivityTechnical Competencies* Strong understanding of Indian CSR regulations and Companies Act* NGO due diligence methodologies Work Relationship* Internal: Works closely with Legal, Finance, Compliance, HR, and Corporate Communications teams* External: Interfaces with NGO partners, auditors, regulatory bodies, impact assessment agencies.DBS India - Culture & Behaviors* Drive Performance Through Value Based Propositions* Ensure Customer Focus by Delighting Customers & Reduce Complaints* Build Pride and Passion to Protect, Maintain and Enhance DBS’ Reputation* Enhance Knowledge Base, Build Skill Sets & Develop Competencies* Invest in Team Building & Motivation through Ideation & Innovation* Execute at Speed While Maintaining Error Free Operations* Develop a Passion for Performance to Grow Talent Pool* Maintain the Highest Standards of Honesty and In
