Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Data Visualization Lead
We are seeking a seasoned Senior BI Architect to lead the development of our business intelligence strategy and architecture. The successful candidate will have relevant experience in designing and implementing large-scale BI solutions, with a strong focus on Power BI, Tableau, and other BI tools. The Senior BI Architect will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, design and implement BI solutions, and ensure data quality and governance
Responsibilities

• Service Delivery Leader for GEN, AI with BI : Design and implement a scalable and secure BI architecture that meets business requirements.
• BI Strategy: Develop and execute a BI strategy that aligns with business objectives
• Data Warehousing: Design and implement data warehouses and data marts to support BI solutions.
• Data Governance: Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and security.
• Stakeholder Management: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure BI solutions meet their needs.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of BI developers and analysts to design and implement BI solutions.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with BI vendors, including Power BI and Tableau.

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• Relevant years in IT services with experience specifically in Service Delivery Leader for GEN, AI with BI.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Proven Expertise as Service Delivery Leader for GEN, AI with BI
• Contributed to aligning UWA GenAI blueprint with multi-platform approach leveraging AWS and Palantir ecosystems.
• Managed coordination of solution architects, BAs, developers, and testers for successful execution of UW Assist MVP.
• Develop and integrate AI-driven features such as predictive analytics, anomaly detection, NLP insights, sentiment analysis, and automation within BI dashboards.
• Implement AI-assisted data models to support forecasting, classification, and clustering tasks.
• Collaborate with data science teams to operationalize ML models into Power BI or other BI tools.
• Build and enhance Power BI dashboards with enriched insights using AI/ML outcomes.
• Own the end-to-end BI development lifecycle: requirement gathering, data modeling, DAX calculations, report optimization, deployment, and support.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and data accuracy across BI solutions.
• Work with SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL pipelines to prepare high-quality datasets for AI/BI solutions.
• Develop reusable data models and standardized reporting assets.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and translate them into AI-enabled BI solutions.
• Present insights and recommend actions to leadership teams.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Data Science, Data Engineering, DevOps, and Platform Admin.
• Define AI with BI standards, reusable frameworks, and accelerators.
• Promote BI governance, documentation, and data quality practices.
• Ensure responsible AI use and compliance with organizational policies.
