Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President- Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory – Deal Value Realization
Genpact’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice is part of our broader priority advisory service lines. Our capabilities are increasingly recognized by our clients and partners, as an emerging and highly credible, hands-on support option to secure planning through to execution and ensure delivery of outcomes and bottom-line impact through IPO, Separation, Integration or Spin off situations.
As part of our continued growth trajectory and plans, we are further expanding our M&A advisory capabilities and looking for dynamic candidates who will help clients identify and realize their Deal ambitions. These roles will suit individuals already working in an advisory capacity or internal M&A professionals working in dynamic, progressive organizations wanting to move into consulting.
Responsibilities
The primary focus of the role is on M&A planning and execution engagements either as standalone consulting projects or supporting delivery teams assigned to our managed service clients. You will:

    Bring industry knowledge, world-class consulting capabilities, innovation and ground-breaking technology to our clients for their global business functions in M&A situations – notably Carve-out and Integrations

    Lead sales pursuits, working with
    multi disciplinaryteams to create compelling proposals to help clients achieve success through deal execution and maximise deal value realisation
    Execute projects to deliver outcomes for clients across M&A agendas – e.g. Strategy, Operations, Value targeting and realisation, Separation & Integration strategy and execution. IMO/SMO
    Bring up to date thinking on emerging technology and modern operating models to translate into offerings and outcomes for clients
    Contribute to developing and executing on the domestic and global strategy for the consulting practice – IP development, delivery assurance toolkits and frameworks, knowledge management, offerings development, and increasingly identify where AI can support our delivery and be part of client solutions
As part of Genpact’s commitment to continued professional growth and development, in addition to the primary focus, you will be involved in the full range of our advisory offerings (e.g. target operating model design, AI and digital transformation). You will also be increasingly exposed to ongoing development of our service offerings and intellectual property (IP) as well as client pursuits and commercial proposals.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
    M&A domain experience + consulting experience
    Prior engagement solutioning and consulting experience
    Hands on experience of pre-deal strategy through to post deal execution e.g. Integration & Separation
    Global perspective and understanding of business marketplace
    Project Management Skills
    Ability to develop and apply creative, workable solutions to project-related issues
    Experience of utilizing AI in delivery of M&A services (preferred)
    Have a broad awareness of deal requirements supported by a secondary functional strength
    Strong analytical skills and high levels of numeracy to use commercial and business case data
    Strong client interfacing skills and consulting acumen with the gravitas to engage and influence senior business stakeholders
    Agility to manage multiple projects (often in a matrixed structure) in fast paced, time sensitive client environments
    Ability to capture and present succinct messages and data in presentation decks and communicate professionally at all levels (verbally and in writing)
    Delivery focused with the drive, determination, resilience and adaptability to succeed

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
    Bachelors, MBA or other professional qualification
    An additional language would be ideal but not required

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $100000 to $125000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number offactors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
