The Assistant Warehouse Manager supports the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and accuracy in all aspects of inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics. This role plays a key part in supervising warehouse staff, coordinating shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and helping implement process improvements to meet organizational goals.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping activities.

Supervise and train warehouse associates; ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.

Monitor workflow to ensure productivity, accuracy, and timeliness of order fulfillment.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Coordinate with other departments (purchasing, customer service, logistics) to ensure smooth order and supply chain operations.

Assist with scheduling and staffing to meet operational demands.

Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) as needed and ensure proper maintenance.

Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and increased efficiency.

Serve as acting Warehouse Manager in their absence.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.

3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of inventory control procedures and shipping/receiving documentation.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various warehouse conditions.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
