Assistant Warehouse Manager ( Saudi )

Purpose of the Job:

Responsible for supporting the end-to-end management of pharmaceutical warehouse operations, stock integrity, and personnel leadership, and will serve as the officially licensed representative of the facility before the Saudi Food & Drug Authority (SFDA).


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Total Operational Oversight: Support the management of warehouse activities, including inbound logistics, storage optimization, and outbound distribution.
  • Inventory & Stock Management: Ensure accuracy of stock records through cycle counts and support the prevention of losses and expiries.
  • SFDA Representation: Act as the licensed representative and key liaison for the facility during SFDA inspections and audits, as required.
  • GSDP Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Good Storage and Distribution Practices (GSDP) to maintain pharmaceutical integrity at all times.
  • Platform Management: Manage and monitor transactions on RSD (Track & Trace) and GHAD systems to ensure accurate regulatory reporting.
  • Cold Chain Excellence: Manage specialized cold chain logistics, including the rigorous monitoring of temperature/humidity logs and the immediate handling of any excursions.
  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee the calibration schedules for all sensors/equipment and manage external vendors for pest control and facility maintenance.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and support store personnel (supervisors, pickers, and drivers) to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Training & Development: Implement training programs to ensure adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor team KPIs and support periodic performance evaluations to ensure operational targets are achieved.
  • Regularly review the validity of government licenses and ensure adherence to SOPs.


Education:

Diploma in Pharmacy


Certifications:

Licensing: Valid registration and classification from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) as a pharmacist or qualified pharmacy technician and logistics certificates & courses are preferred.


Experience:

5-8 years’ experience
