Assistant/Associate/ Professor in Health Promotion

1. Teach courses in health promotion at the graduate Master of Public Health (MPH) and undergraduate levels.

2. Contribute to the development of new courses in health promotion.

3. Maintain an active health promotion research agenda and secure funding through competitive national or international grants.

4. Mentor graduate and undergraduate students through the supervision of research projects and capstones

5. Contribute to committees that serve the mission of the College and support the operations of the department

6. Contribute to the health promotion profession and community through application of health promotion knowledge and skills

7. Other responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department

Qualifications
1. A Ph.D. degree relevant to health promotion
2. Qualifications that demonstrate a breadth of knowledge and skills across the field of health promotion
3. Knowlege of the breadth of current health promotion practice and international health promotion competencies
4. A record of health promotion research experience, grants and publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals
5. Skills and experience in supervising undergraduate and graduate students’ research projects
6. Experience in teaching health promotion courses in an academic setting at undergraduate and graduate levels
7. Creative and innovative approaches to curriculum development, teaching and assessment
8. Excellent written and oral communication skills
9. Arabic language is preferable, but not mandatory.
