- High efficiency in teaching courses in Special Education (such as assessment and diagnosis, individualized education program [IEP] development, instructional strategies for diverse disabilities, behavior management, inclusion practices, and assistive technologies).
- Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based pedagogical approaches for students with various disability categories.
- Ability to prepare future teachers to design and implement individualized instructional plans and to provide effective interventions across educational settings.
- Potential to establish an active research program in Special Education involving student participation, focused on current issues such as inclusion, assistive technology, intervention effectiveness, and family–school partnerships.
- Knowledge of contemporary teaching practices and E-learning strategies in the field of Special Education.
- Willingness to contribute to the academic development of the program through curriculum enhancement and innovative instructional methods.
- Willingness to contribute effectively to college and university initiatives, and to propose constructive projects related to Special Education and community engagement.
- Encourage students to consider their future careers in the local, regional, and international context and ensure they are equipped to meet professional demands in Special Education.
- Expertise in curriculum development, academic advising, organization of conferences, seminars, workshops, and community-oriented activities, as well as in building partnerships with local educational and rehabilitation institutions.
- Ability to provide service to the college and university, to participate in the development, evaluation, and review of the college curriculum, and to participate in research and scholarly activities.
- A proven track record of teaching excellence at the university level, with at least 2-5 years of university teaching experience and 5 years of professional experience in Special Education or related fields.
- Research published in international scientific journals indexed in Scopus.
- Dedication to renewing, developing, and proposing curricula that reflect current best practices in Special Education.
- Extensive experience working with individuals with special needs and teaching Special Education courses is expected.
- Willingness to provide all necessary and required services to the university and college.
