The College of Law is contributing to academic excellence nationally and internationally. We are currently seeking a new Faculty Member at the level of Assistant Professor in Technology and Law - consideration will be given for promotion to Associate Professor in special cases.

The College of Law is a regional leader in legal education, offering Bachelor of Law, Master of Public Law, Master of Private Law, Master of Law in Cyber Law and Artificial Intelligence, and a PhD in Law. Programs are CAA and WASC accredited. Curriculum is primarily in Arabic and English; applicants should be able to teach in English and Arabic, with English only also encouraged.

• Curriculum Vitae: include education, teaching and research experience and a list of publications. Please include a link to your Google Scholar and Scopus profiles in your CV.
• Research Proposal: include a 2 page proposal stating the research you will conduct over the next 2 4 years while at the College of Law.

Criteria You Must Have

Applications that do not meet these criteria will not be considered.

• Assistant Professor: doctoral or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated significant scholarly accomplishments appropriate to the discipline.
• At least three years of full time teaching and research experience with key research publications.
• Excellent teaching ability and active engagement with students.
• Associate Professor: at least eight years of full time teaching and research experience with key publications.
• For Associate Professor applicants - list your top 10 Scopus publications with a 5 line explanation for each.
• Special skills and abilities: communication/teaching skills, presentation skills, computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Teaching qualification or willingness to complete one under the UK HEA Fellowship Scheme.
• Demonstrated commitment to publishing Scopus publications.
• Clear engagement with research networks, evidence based.
• Experience in developing student activities/events.
• Demonstration of being a "good University citizen".
