Duties

• Assist residents to promote independence and comfort.
• Monitor residents’ health status by observing changes and reporting concerns to medical staff or supervisors.
• Administer medications as directed and ensure proper care.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a friendly and caring atmosphere.
• Follow all safety protocols and adhere to healthcare regulations to ensure resident safety at all times.

Requirements

• Prior experience in elder care or assisted living environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills and patience.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and medication management.
• Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to providing exceptional resident care.
• Ability to pass background checks and any required health screenings.

Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if necessary; availability for scheduled shifts is essential.
