Job Overview

Mason Insurance Group is seeking a detail-oriented, tech-driven Associate to join our growing commercial insurance agency. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work directly with agency ownership while gaining hands-on experience in business operations, data management, client support, and the commercial insurance market.

As an Associate, you will help support day-to-day agency operations by managing administrative workflows, maintaining accurate client and policy data, assisting with scheduling and follow-up, and helping ownership organize and grow existing business. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable with technology, and interested in building a long-term professional path in the insurance industry.

This is a paid position with compensation based on experience. For the right person, the role offers meaningful opportunity for growth, expanded responsibility, and potential participation in agency incentive programs over time.

Duties

  • Assist agency ownership with daily administrative, operational, and organizational needs
  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate client and policy information across agency systems
  • Help manage calendars, scheduling, reminders, and follow-up tasks
  • Support internal office workflow, document organization, and file maintenance
  • Assist in tracking renewals, outstanding service items, and existing business activity
  • Work within CRM, AMS, spreadsheets, and other business software to maintain clean and reliable records
  • Prepare reports, organize data, and assist with process improvement initiatives
  • Communicate professionally with clients, carriers, and business partners as needed
  • Help ownership stay organized and focused on production and growth efforts
  • Support the continued development of agency systems and internal efficiency

Experience

  • Prior insurance, legal, administrative, or office support experience is preferred but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail
  • Comfort working with Excel, Microsoft Office, email systems, CRM platforms, and database-driven software
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and interested in professional growth
  • Experience with data entry, reporting, scheduling, or operations support is highly desirable
