Role Overview:
The Associate PR Account Director is a senior leadership role within the agency, responsible for driving the strategic direction of client accounts, leading the PR team across markets, and supporting the agency’s overall growth. This role requires strong leadership, business development acumen, and the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams. The Associate PR Account Director will work closely with the Group PR Directors and collaborate with international offices to elevate client service, lead new business initiatives, and support internal functions including HR, Admin, and branding efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Client Direction:

Develop and implement integrated PR strategies aligned with client and agency goals.

Identify and capitalize on opportunities across PR, social media, events, and partnerships.

Drive the creation and use of success metrics to measure campaign impact and ensure ROI.
Media & Influencer Relations:

Foster and maintain high-level relationships with media, influencers, and key industry players.

Oversee the planning and execution of media-facing events, press conferences, and interviews.
Crisis & Reputation Management:

Develop and oversee crisis communication frameworks.

Provide hands-on support and counsel during high-stakes or sensitive situations in key markets.
Stakeholder & Community Engagement:

Lead engagement efforts with key stakeholders including clients, partners, employees, and community representatives.

Represent the agency at high-level industry events, conferences, and CSR initiatives.
Internal Communication & Team Culture:

Support internal communication strategies to ensure team alignment and motivation across regional offices.

Guide team meetings, internal announcements, and interdepartmental collaboration.
Team Leadership & Development:

Mentor, coach, and guide team members to drive performance and creativity.

Set team KPIs and ensure regular performance evaluations.

Oversee resource allocation across accounts for optimal efficiency and delivery.
New Business Development:

Lead the agency’s new business efforts by identifying opportunities, shaping proposals, and delivering winning pitches.

Cultivate relationships with potential clients and partners to grow the agency’s portfolio.
Agency Branding & Business Growth:

Contribute to elevating the agency’s public profile through awards, case studies, speaker engagements, and branded content.

Support the senior leadership team in strategic planning to grow the agency’s footprint and service offering.
Support to HR & Administration:

Collaborate with the HR and Admin teams to implement internal policies, staff development programs, and cultural initiatives.
