Associate Accountant

Location: G-8 Markaz, Islamabad
Job Type: Full-Time (Onsite)
Working Hours: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM

About the Role

Rexen Consultancy is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Associate Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate should be ACCA Qualified or Part-Qualified with a solid understanding of accounting principles and excellent analytical skills. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while gaining hands-on experience in financial operations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions accurately.
• Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and account reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Support external and internal audits by providing required documentation.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• ACCA Qualified or ACCA Part-Qualified.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field will be an added advantage.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred (fresh ACCA-qualified candidates with strong knowledge are encouraged to apply).
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
