Associate Accountant

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan and execute accounting assignments, including recording financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Willingness to visit client premises to conduct onsite assignments when required.
• Maintain an organized approach and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Prepare financial records in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Identify and report control weaknesses to management as they arise.
• Participate in other assurance-related services, such as internal audits, business analysis, and process reviews.
• Manage VAT filing processes and assist with period-end book closing.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing ACCA qualification, with the Skills level completed.
• 1 to 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A proactive attitude toward continuous professional development and staying updated on changes in accounting and VAT regulations.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Zoho Books.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
