We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Application Developer to support business automation initiatives and application development within Al Nabooda Automobiles. The role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of experience in web application development who are eager to grow their technical and business application knowledge in a dynamic automotive environment.

Job Purpose:

To support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of business applications and automation solutions across the organization. The Associate Application Developer will assist in developing web applications, understanding business requirements, supporting workflows and approval systems, performing testing and documentation, and ensuring smooth day-to-day application support.

Accountabilities:

Application Development

• Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using React, Angular, or similar front-end technologies.
• Support small-scale application development and automation initiatives aligned with business requirements.
• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving application issues.
• Assist in integrating applications with databases and internal systems.

Business Applications & Automation

• Understand operational workflows, approval processes, and business application requirements across departments.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of business automation solutions.
• Assist business users in identifying process improvement opportunities through technology solutions.
• Provide support for low-code/no-code platforms such as Kissflow, Power Apps, or similar tools.

Database & Data Handling

• Write and execute SQL queries for data retrieval, updates, and reporting purposes.
• Work with database tables, joins, and data validation activities.
• Support data handling and ensure data accuracy within applications.

Testing & Documentation

• Perform application testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation.
• Document application changes, workflows, and issue resolutions.

Application Support

• Provide first-level support for internally developed applications and automation tools.
• Monitor applications and escalate unresolved issues where required.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution and continuous system improvement.

Personal Development

• Engage in continuous professional and technical development.
• Stay updated with modern development technologies, tools, and business application trends.
• Arrange an annual appraisal with your line manager in accordance with the company’s appraisal process.

Education / Qualification, Skills, Competencies and Experience:

Education / Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in web application development.
• Experience working with React, Angular, or similar front-end technologies.
• Exposure to business applications or workflow systems is preferred.
• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms such as Kissflow or Power Apps will be an added advantage.
