  • Collaborate with SREs, DevOps, and platform engineers to streamline software delivery and operational workflows.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes manifests or Helm charts.
  • Build monitoring and alerting automation to support observability goals using Dynatrace, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and similar tools.
  • Standardize and version infrastructure through GitOps methodologies and declarative configuration.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize automated workflows and deployment pipelines to improve speed, reliability, and recoverability.
  • Ensure automation practices align with security standards, including access control, secrets management, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, peer reviews, and sprint planning to continuously refine automation strategy and execution.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Infrastructure Automation & CI/CD Expertise:

  • Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
  • Strong experience with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and containerization (Docker).
  • Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including automation of cloud services.
  • Knowledge of system and network administration, including Linux-based environments.

DevOps & Observability:

  • Understanding of DevOps principles and GitOps practices.
  • Experience integrating observability and alerting into automated workflows.
  • Familiarity with configuration management, infrastructure testing, and system hardening.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ownership mentality and passion for process improvement and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Kubernetes Operators and custom controllers.
  • Exposure to serverless frameworks and event-driven architectures.
  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or DevOps practices.
