Associate Attorney

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of litigation matters.
• Assist partners on complex, high-value cases.
• Conduct client interviews, case screening, and intake evaluations.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement demands.
• Maintain strong client communication throughout each stage of the case.

Experience

• The candidate must be licensed in the District of Columbia and Maryland or Viriginia. All three bars is a plus.
• Seeking an associate attorney with 2-5 years of experience.
• The applicant will handle his/her own litigation cases and will assist in litigation being handled by the partners.
• The position also requires interviewing clients, screening new cases, and drafting pleadings and discovery.
• The ideal candidate is a self-starter, and must have the desire and personality for extensive client contact.
• The applicant must have great communication skills and be energetic, detail oriented, and enjoy working with a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,237.02 - $145,339.20 per year
