Associate Attorney

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation litigation and a willingness to learn. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, a commitment to client advocacy, and the ability to conduct thorough legal research. The Associate Attorney will work collaboratively with the firm owner and support staff in a fast-paced law office environment.

Salary is negotiable and will be based on experience, and whether it is a full time or part time position, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and representation in areas such as personal injury law, debt defense, and consumer law.
• Conduct legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and other necessary paperwork with precision.
• Engage in litigation processes including trial preparation, court appearances, and negotiations on behalf of clients.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas including securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, and patent law.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of case files and ensure compliance with all legal procedures.

Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Florida Bar Admission
