Associate Attorney

Job Summary
Kent & McBride, P.C. a Civil Defense litigation firm located in Cherry Hill, NJ seeks an energetic Litigation Associate for its ever-growing PIP practice.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct discovery, evaluate liability and damages, and prepare cases for binding arbitration.

- Attend arbitrations virtually.

- Draft arbitrations statements and applications for dismissal.

- Bench trials.

- Negotiate settlements.

- Work independently and in teams to complete projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor degree. Licensed to practice law in the State of NJ

- Ability to stay organized and meet rigid deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of General Litigation experience (Writing/Trials).

- Courtroom experience.

- Excellent interpersonal skills (i.e., active listening, negotiation, persuasion).

- Excellent analytical skills (i.e., critical thinking, problem solving, decision making).

- Well-developed written communication skills.
