Position Overview

We are seeking a driven Associate Attorney to join our St. Louis team. This role offers meaningful courtroom experience and the chance to work with AI tools that enhance our practice. We’re looking for someone who’s not only eager to become a trial lawyer, but also excited about using innovative technology. If you’re interested in how AI can streamline and strengthen legal work, you’ll fit right in.

Because we’re a small, elite team, you’ll be expected to gain direct trial experience. You’ll go into trial, take witnesses, and handle key trial components with our mentorship. Our goal is to develop you into a first-chair trial lawyer. Trial is the goal; litigation is just the road to get there.

Key Responsibilities

· Draft, edit, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.

· Conduct client meetings and maintain strong relationships.

· Appear in court for hearings and participate in all phases of trial preparation.

· Take witnesses and handle real trial work with the goal of becoming a first-chair trial lawyer.

· Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and leverage AI tools to enhance your legal practice.

Qualifications

· Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

· Missouri law license or eligibility for immediate admission.

· Strong research and writing skills.

· Excitement about using AI and legal tech to improve legal work.

· A genuine interest in trial advocacy and a willingness to innovate.

Compensation and Benefits

· Competitive salary with bonuses that vest over time.
