Associate Attorney

Cimmarusti Law Corporation is a growing boutique litigation defense firm, focused on providing creative, responsive, and results-oriented legal services to clients across a variety of industries. Since its founding nearly two years ago, our firm has strived to be a dynamic and collaborative complex litigation practice. As a result of our efforts, we have seen our practice grow exponentially. We are seeking a full-time, partner-track junior litigation associate attorney for general liability and complex litigation matters. Our ideal candidate is someone who desires playing an integral role in all aspects of our cases and we understand that the success of our firm is driven by our commitment to developing legal talent and a team capable of the highest quality of work.

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of legal experience.
• Successful completion of the bar exam in California, current member in good standing with the California Bar.
• Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school.
• Must have excellent writing and oral advocacy skills. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who possesses strong organizational skills and is able to work with multiple clients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in determining proper solutions to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action.
• Engage in proactive legal strategy and fact finding with wide range of latitude to build a client’s case.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and to keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Prepare correspondence, discovery, motions, and other legal documents.
• Communicate and collaborate with partners and clients.
• Maintain organized files, stay ahead of deadlines, and manage a full caseload with your team.

What we offer

Our benefits include a competitive base salary commensurate with legal experience. We offer full medical, dental, and vision benefits. In addition to the base salary, we offer a generous bonus program based on annual billing metrics, which is prepaid throughout the year. We also have an annual discretionary bonus based on job performance. The firm offers partnership track and assistance as needed for client development.

Salary: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year based on experience.
