Job Description:

A multi-jurisdictional collections law firm is seeking a motivated and dependable Associate Attorney to join its Florida office. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who enjoy working within a firm structure but in an independent and self-managed setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle litigation matters related to collections
• Work independently with support from legal and administrative staff
• Attend hearings, draft pleadings, and manage caseloads
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Ensure organized, timely, and professional handling of all assigned cases

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of litigation experience preferred (training will be provided for the right candidate)
• Must be licensed to practice law in Florida
• Highly dependable, organized, and self-motivated
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines independently

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Bankruptcy Law: 4 years (Preferred)
• Collections: 1 year (Preferred)
• Debits & credits: 1 year (Preferred)
• General & commercial litigation: 1 year (Preferred)
• Litigation: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Bar (Required)
