Associate Attorney

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, including but not limited to real estate and construction law. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft legal documents effectively. The Associate Attorney will work closely with clients to provide comprehensive legal services while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, contracts, and agreements across various practice areas with an emphasis on construction and real estate law.
• Represent clients in negotiations and litigation proceedings, advocating for their best interests in court or during settlement discussions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases while managing a diverse caseload effectively.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within the law office environment to ensure compliance with all legal standards.
• Communicate regularly with clients to update them on case progress and address any concerns they may have.

Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar association is required.
• Previous experience in a law office setting is preferred, with a focus on litigation or any of the specified practice areas being highly advantageous.
• Strong writing skills with experience in legal drafting necessary for effective communication of complex legal concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful client representation in various legal matters. Projected Total Compensation: $85,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
