Associate Attorney

Job Overview
Herr Pedersen & Berglund’s Visalia office is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team. HPB is open to recent graduates who are awaiting bar results. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background or willingness to learn litigation. This is a fast-paced position where attention to detail is key.

Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Draft legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and clarity.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations, advocating for their interests effectively.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients' cases.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive representation of clients.
• Manage case files efficiently within the law office environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Compensation: Competitive pay and benefits. DOE and negotiable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
