Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support case strategies.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements with precision and clarity.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of cases for trial by organizing evidence and developing case strategies.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and provide insights based on research findings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in laws relevant to practice areas.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on case progress and address any concerns.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar association and a valid license to practice law.
• Proficient in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent legal drafting skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to litigate effectively in court settings.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically about complex legal issues.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client interactions.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all legal matters.
