Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, including but not limited to estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, and family law. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft legal documents effectively. The Associate Attorney will work closely with clients to provide comprehensive legal advice and representation while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Draft legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and clarity.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings across various practice areas including landlord-tenant law, personal injury law, workers' compensation law, and securities law.
  • Advise clients on estate planning strategies and assist in the administration of estates.
  • Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting practice areas such as tribal law & regulations and patent law.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation cases while managing a caseload independently.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure timely communication with clients regarding their legal matters.

Experience

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar is required.
  • Prior experience in a law office setting is preferred; familiarity with various areas of law such as environmental law, family law, or immigration law is advantageous.
  • Strong writing skills demonstrated through previous legal drafting experience.
  • Proven ability to conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
