Associate Attorney

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, including but not limited to Plaintiff's employment law and personal injury. This role involves providing legal support, depositions, conducting thorough research, and assisting in litigation processes while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The Associate Attorney will work collaboratively with senior attorneys and clients to deliver effective legal solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and motions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
• Assist in litigation by preparing cases for trial, attending court hearings, and representing clients in negotiations.
• Provide counsel on various legal matters including employment law and personal injury law.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation within the law office to ensure efficient workflow.
• Participate in client meetings and communicate effectively regarding case progress and legal options.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of employment law and personal injury law.
• Proficient in legal research methodologies with experience using LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and concise legal documents.
• Strong negotiation skills to advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
• Ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis to inform case strategies.
• Previous experience in a legal administrative role is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
