Associate Attorney

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our law firm. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law including personal injury, workers' compensation, and litigation. This role requires excellent research and writing skills, as well as the ability to effectively negotiate on behalf of clients. The Associate Attorney will work collaboratively with senior attorneys and support staff to provide exceptional legal services to our clients.

Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
• Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings across various practice areas including personal injury law, and workers' compensation law.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop effective legal strategies.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation within the law office.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Strong background in litigation with experience in negotiation preferred.
• Familiarity with various areas of law
• Proficient in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent writing skills with a focus on legal drafting.
• Prior experience in a legal administrative role is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
