Associate Legal

▪ Documentation & Agreements:

o Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents including investment agreements, shareholder agreements, and incubation agreements.

o Ensure all documentation is compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

▪ Legal Advisory:

o Provide legal advice and support on matters related to startup incubation, investments, and corporate governance.

o Assist startups in understanding the legal implications of fundraising and investment processes.

▪ Due Diligence:

o Conduct legal due diligence for startups seeking investment.

o Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with investment processes.

▪ Compliance:

o Ensure startups comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.

o Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting startups and provide updates to the team.

▪ Collaboration:

o Work collaboratively with the portfolio team to support startups in their legal needs.

Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.

Qualifications, Experience, and Expertise:

▪ Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from a recognized university. A master’s degree in law (LLM) will be an added advantage.

▪ Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in corporate law, preferably with a focus on startup legal advisory, investment processes, and due diligence.

Preferred Attributes:

▪ Experience in working with startups or in a startup environment.

▪ Familiarity with the legal landscape of the technology sector.

▪ Strong network within the legal community.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
