Associate Attorney

We are a small, successful law firm focused on Family Law and Personal Injury, located in Douglasville, GA, with offices in Southwest and Middle Georgia. We are seeking an experienced, energetic, responsible Associate Attorney.

Our preferred candidate will have:

• Four (4) or more years of experience practicing Family Law preferred;
• The capacity to handle cases and clients independently
• Skilled at supervising the work of paralegals, legal assistants, junior associates, and law clerks
• A creative mind and the ability to solve problems independently.
• A willingness to work hard to see that our clients receive top-notch service and results.
• A license to practice in the State of Georgia in good standing
• Proficiency in MS Office, case management software and e-filing.
• A positive attitude

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent Clients in Depositions, Meditations, Hearings, and Trials
• Drafting Motions, Pleadings, Orders, Judgments, and Case Updates
• Overseeing and Analyzing Discovery

•Compensation:

• Initial compensation will be based upon prior experience and current pay. Raises will be based onjob performance.
• The position is full-time and offers periodic bonus opportunities, paid holidays, paid time off.
