Associate Attorney

Small busy practice seeking associate for full time position. Primarily juvenile dependency and delinquency. Courtroom or legal research experience preferred but not required since we are looking for the best fit. This position offers strong mentorship and the ability to learn through experience. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, written, and oral advocacy skills. Attorneys will represent our diverse clientele in all legal proceedings pertaining to their case, provide legal counsel, and draft all legal pleadings from initial filings, trial memos and judgments.

Salary DOE with the possibility of incentive bonuses.

Daily work expectations include:

• Developing and applying legal solutions to clients’ issues.

• Clearly and empathetically communicating legal options to clients.

• Researching case law, drafting correspondence and drafting and filing pleadings.

• Working with staff to accurately calendar all hearings, filing deadlines and other key dates.

• Ability to multi-task on a variety of projects.

• Ability to work both independently & within a team environment.

• Take ownership of assignments and accept responsibility of work product.

Pay: $77,000.00 - $99,000.00 per year
