Associate Employment Defense Attorney – Pasadena, CA

A well-established Pasadena law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing employment defense team . This is an opportunity to work alongside highly experienced litigators on complex, high-impact cases while receiving hands-on mentorship and guidance.

About the Role

The attorney will represent employers and related entities in a wide range of employment law matters, including:

• Wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and harassment claims
• ERISA and benefits litigation
• Defense of class actions and complex employment disputes
• Drafting pleadings, discovery responses, dispositive motions, and participating in depositions and mediations

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the California Bar
• 0-2 years of employment defense or civil litigation experience preferred
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines with precision and professionalism

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 – $150,000 annually . Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
