Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing comprehensive legal support across multiple practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law and regulations, litigation, patent law, and landlord-tenant law. Your expertise will help guide clients through complex legal processes while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Duties:
- Conduct thorough legal research utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and legal opinions
- Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, motions, and client correspondence with precision and clarity
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, negotiations, and client meetings by organizing case files and evidence
- Support estate planning initiatives by drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents
- Provide guidance on environmental compliance issues and assist with regulatory filings
- Participate in negotiations with clients or opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes
- Maintain detailed records of case progress and ensure all deadlines are met in accordance with firm protocols
- Conduct legal research on tribal laws and regulations to support cases involving indigenous communities
- Collaborate with the legal team to develop strategies for litigation cases across various practice areas
- Utilize legal administrative experience to manage case documentation efficiently and support the overall workflow of the law office
Experience:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- 3–4 years of practice, preferably in transactional real estate and corporate matters
- Strong legal writing, research, and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and professionally
- Verifiable professional references
- Highly motivated, with strong presentation and client-facing skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of $150,000–$160,000
- Approximately 1,600 billable hours per year
