Responsibilities:
- Conduct residential real estate closings
- Draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements
- Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations
- Manage and prioritize multiple cases and deadlines
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice area
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Kentucky Bar
- Admission to the Indiana Bar a plus
- Strong knowledge of statutes, legal principles and court procedures involved with Probate, Wills and Trusts
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound advice
- Proficiency in legal drafting and document review
- Experience using Wealthcounsel, Courtnet, and Qualia
- Experience with litigation, negotiation, and client representation
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn, adapt, develop and take on more responsibilities over time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,757.00 - $78,717.00 per year
