Job Summary We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. We understand that talented attorneys have different lifestyle needs, so we are open to candidates seeking Full-Time, Part-Time, or Contract roles.

In this role, you will handle a fascinating mix of cases from drafting complex business agreements to defending criminal cases and advocating for personal injury plaintiffs. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a broad skillset in a supportive environment where no two days are the same.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough research using tools such as LexisNexis/Westlaw to support case preparation for criminal defense strategies, civil fraud allegations, and personal injury liability.
• Drafting & Transactional Work: Draft, review, and negotiate business contracts; prepare clear and precise pleadings, motions, and memoranda for litigation.
• Case Management: Assist in managing case files from intake to resolution, maintaining organized records, and tracking deadlines within our practice management system.
• Courtroom & Negotiation: Prepare for court proceedings (arraignments, hearings, motions) and support negotiations with opposing counsel or prosecutors to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Client Relations: Participate in client meetings, conduct intake interviews, and provide detailed updates to clients regarding their business or litigation matters.
• Strategy: Collaborate directly with the firm's leadership to develop case theories and business strategies.

Experience & Qualifications

• Admission: J.D. from an accredited law school and active admission to the Bar (in good standing).
• Versatility: Interest or experience in Criminal Law, Personal Injury, or Business Transactions is required. We do not expect you to be an expert in all three immediately, but you must be willing to learn.
• Research & Writing: Strong writing skills with the ability to produce well-organized legal documents; proficiency in Westlaw or LexisNexis is preferred.
• Soft Skills: A self-starter attitude suitable for a startup environment. You must be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
