Associate Attorney

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of practice areas, including contracts, construction law, consumer law, and commercial litigation. The Associate Attorney will play a vital role in providing high-quality legal services, conducting thorough legal research, drafting precise legal documents, and supporting senior attorneys in complex cases. This position is ideal for a motivated individual eager to develop their expertise across multiple legal disciplines within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and legal analysis.
  • Draft and review a variety of legal documents including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and correspondence with clarity and precision.
  • Assist in managing client files and maintaining organized case records within the law office management system.
  • Support attorneys during negotiations by preparing relevant documentation and participating in strategy sessions.
  • Conduct client interviews to gather pertinent information for estate planning, family law matters, or other practice areas.
  • Prepare for litigation by organizing evidence, drafting motions, and coordinating discovery processes.
  • Stay current on relevant laws and regulations across multiple practice areas to ensure compliance and effective counsel.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop innovative solutions tailored to client needs while adhering to ethical standards.

Experience

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
  • Prior experience or internships in contracts, construction law, consumer law, and commercial litigation or related fields is highly preferred but not mandatory; strong candidates with a demonstrated interest will be considered.
  • Proficiency in legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft clear and effective legal documents with excellent writing skills.
  • Experience working in a busy law office environment with familiarity in legal administrative processes is advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation skills coupled with the ability to analyze complex legal issues across multiple practice areas are essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
