Key Responsibilities:

• Manage civil litigation cases from initial assessment through final judgment, including contract disputes, business litigation, construction law, and trade secret matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents with precision.
• Conduct legal research and apply analytical reasoning to support case strategy.
• Take and defend depositions, and represent clients in state and federal courts.
• Participate in trial preparation, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Develop strong client relationships and provide consistent case updates.
• Utilize technology and AI tools to enhance research, case management, and strategic decision-making.

Candidate Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in civil litigation, with courtroom exposure preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Familiarity with Illinois civil procedure and interest in mastering strategic litigation practices.
• Experience with depositions, motion practice, and courtroom appearances.
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently while collaborating effectively with partners and colleagues.
• Illinois Bar admission in good standing.
• Technologically proficient, with openness to leveraging AI and legal tech tools.
