Who We Are Looking For

We seek a licensed New York attorney with 3–5 years of trial and litigation experience in family and matrimonial law. The ideal candidate is not only an excellent litigator but also a highly organized, proactive self-starter who can take ownership of cases from day one. You should be confident in the courtroom, skilled at handling complex cases, and able to manage multiple matters with precision while delivering top-tier client service.

Key Responsibilities

·      Represent clients in all aspects of family law litigation, including divorce, custody, parenting plans, support, and equitable distribution.

·      Handle every stage of litigation: intake, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trials.

·      Negotiate and draft prenuptial, postnuptial, and settlement agreements.

·      Draft legal documents including motions, affidavits, pleadings, and trial briefs.

·      Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategy.

·      Appear in Supreme Court and Family Court (in-person and virtually).

·      Maintain organized case files and deadlines while driving matters forward independently.

·      Collaborate with the legal team on firm systems, strategy, and best practices.

Qualifications

·      Licensed New York Attorney in good standing.

·       3–5 years of litigation experience in family and matrimonial law (required).

·      Strong courtroom advocacy skills, including motion practice, hearings, and trial work.

·      Skilled legal writer with sharp research and analytical ability.

·      Experience drafting and negotiating prenuptial/postnuptial agreements.

·      Familiarity with NYS Supreme and Family Court procedures and e-filing systems (NYSCEF/EDDS).

·      Exceptional organization and time management skills — able to handle a heavy caseload.

·      Self-starter who thrives with autonomy, takes initiative, and drives cases forward.

·      Professionalism and composure in high-conflict situations.

·      Tech-savvy and comfortable working in a hybrid legal environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $110,000 – $150,000 per year + incentives based on experience

Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
