Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in estate planning, business law, and/or tax matters. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients, contribute to strategic planning, and develop professionally within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Draft and review estate planning documents, business contracts, and assist with probate filings.
· Advise clients on legal strategies related to estate planning, business formation, entity compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and tax planning.
· Collaborate with attorneys and CPAs on multidisciplinary matters.
· Manage client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.
· Stay current with relevant laws and regulations in Kansas and Missouri.
Qualifications:
· Juris Doctor (JD) required; LLM in Estate Planning or Taxation, or CPA designation is a plus.
· Licensed to practice law in Kansas and/or Missouri.
· 1–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
· Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous learning.
· Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative mindset.
