With four attorneys specializing exclusively in family law and litigation, the firm handles matters including divorce, legal separation, domestic violence, paternity, custody, and support. The team also deals with domestic partnerships, cohabitation, and premarital agreements.

Role Description

This is a full-time position for an Associate Attorney located in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for managing family law cases, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, representing clients in family law litigation, and collaborating with senior attorneys. Day-to-day tasks include client consultations, preparation for court hearings, presentations, and negotiating settlements.

Qualifications

• 1+ Years of Experience in Family Law and Litigation
• Strong Legal Research and Writing skills
• Proficiency in Drafting Legal Documents and Court Filings
• Excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills
• Ability to Manage Multiple Cases and Meet Deadlines
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Oregon
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
