Associate Attorney - Mass Torts
Position Overview
We are looking for a Mass Tort Associate who has directly handled clients and case files, ideally within fast-moving and high-volume litigation environments. This role requires excellent organization, attention to detail, strong judgment, and the ability to drive matters forward proactively without constant supervision. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives under deadlines and can confidently interface with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support mass tort litigation matters from intake through resolution
- Handle high-volume client communications sensitively, efficiently, and professionally
- Maintain, track, and organize case files, medical records, discovery materials, deadlines, and workflows
- Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, settlement summaries, and other written work product
- Conduct legal research and apply relevant state/federal procedural and substantive law
- Work collaboratively with partners, paralegals, medical review teams, and support departments
- Prepare cases for hearings, mediation, settlement, or trial as needed
- Proactively move files and client cases forward with minimal oversight
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Experience in mass torts litigation preferred
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and writing ability
- Demonstrated capacity to independently manage deadlines & caseloads
- Proactive, resourceful, and capable of driving tasks to completion

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
