Associate Brand Manager

Location: Hybrid / Remote / Secaucus, NJ

  • : Laughing Tiger is a frozen food brand inspired by authentic Pan-Asian flavors, designed to be approachable and accessible while delivering bold taste and quality. The brand focuses on clear flavor cues, strong on-shelf communication, and consistent execution across retail and digital channels.
  • : Happi Foodi is an emerging frozen food brand currently focused on a single value-oriented fried rice SKU, with an emphasis on strong retail execution, pricing discipline, and velocity. The brand is highly operator-led, with a hands-on approach to promotions, retail media, and day-to-day performance management.

Role Overview

The Associate Brand Manager will support brand execution, shopper marketing, and retail performance across a portfolio of frozen food brands, including Happi Foodi Fried Rice, Laughing Tiger, and Dr Bombay. This role is highly executional and analytical, with a strong focus on shopper marketing, retail media, paid media execution, and cross-functional coordination.The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can operate independently, owning day-to-day execution while working within established brand strategy and budget guardrails. This role requires a blend of analytical rigor, creative judgment, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Shopper Marketing & Retailer Price Promotions

- Partner closely with the Sales team to support trade-funded price promotions, coupon, and shopper marketing initiatives across key retail partners- Ensure promotional mechanics, timing, and pricing are executed accurately across retail and e-commerce platforms- Coordinate internally to ensure promotions are reflected in demand planning and communicated clearly to agencies and partners- Track and analyze post-promotion performance, sharing learnings and recommendations

Retail Media & Paid Media Execution

- Serve as the day-to-day brand lead for retail media and paid media, partnering closely with external agency partners- Monitor campaign performance across platforms, including pacing, ROAS, and conversion metrics- Make data-driven recommendations on budget adjustments, optimization priorities, and creative rotation within pre-defined guardrails- Ensure retail media and paid media efforts are aligned with brand priorities, launches, and shopper marketing initiatives- Support hands-on execution of retail media campaigns over time as capability allows, and help identify opportunities to bring select functions in-house

Budget Management & Foundational Finance

- Manage and track brand marketing budgets across retail media, shopper marketing, and paid media- Monitor pacing and flag risks, underspend, or reallocation opportunities- Maintain accurate budget trackers and reporting within pre-approved budget frameworks

Brand Execution, Creative & Content

- Partner closely with the Social Media Manager to provide day-to-day brand direction and ensure alignment across content calendars, campaigns, and launches- Support development of new packaging and brand assets for upcoming product launches- Coordinate with designers, agencies, and internal teams to manage creative timelines and approvals- Lead execution of photoshoots and creator content, including briefing agencies, reviewing assets, and ensuring deliverables meet brand and channel needs- Ensure consistent brand expression across digital, social, retail, and shopper touchpoints

Reporting, Insights & Performance Tracking

- Own reporting across retail media, paid media, promotions, and shopper marketing- Design and maintain performance reports using available data sources- Synthesize data into clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Serve as a connector across Sales, agencies, operations, and business managers- Manage timelines, approvals, and handoffs to keep initiatives moving efficiently- Proactively flag risks and propose solutions, including during periods of team coverage or transition

Qualifications

Required:- 2–4+ years of experience in CPG brand management, shopper marketing, retail media, or a related role- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights- High attention to detail with strong creative judgment- Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and prioritize effectivelyPreferred:- Experience with retail media platforms (Instacart, Kroger, Walmart, Amazon, etc.)- Experience managing agency partners- Familiarity with IRI/Circana, retailer reporting tools, or similar analytics platforms

- Promotions, retail media, and paid media run smoothly- Budgets are well-managed, paced, and clearly reported- Sales and agencies feel supported and aligned- Brand execution remains consistent and high-quality

Pay: $75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
