Responsibilities
- Understand problem statements and independently implement data science solutions and techniques.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
- Quickly learn and adapt to new tools, platforms, or programming languages.
- Conceptualize, design, and deliver high-quality solutions and actionable insights.
- Conduct data gathering, requirements analysis, and research for solution development.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineering and Product Development, to implement models and monitor their outcomes.
- Develop and deploy AI/ML-based solutions for problems such as:
- Customer segmentation and targeting
- Propensity modeling, exploratory data analysis (EDA)
- RFM analysis, mission segmentation, price optimization, promo optimization, customer lifetime value (CLTV) analysis, and more.
- Operate in an Agile development environment to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
Required Skills and Experience
Must-Have Skills:
- Python
- SQL
- Power BI
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Good understanding of statistical concepts and techniques.
- Experience in the retail industry or a strong interest in solving retail business challenges.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with PySpark and Databricks.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and architecture.
- Hands-on experience with other data visualization tools.
