Summary

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Associate Business Developer to join the team at Phaedra Solutions. This position is suited for candidates with up to one year of experience in business development or related roles. In this role, you will support client acquisition efforts, nurture relationships, explore new business opportunities, and contribute to revenue-focused initiatives. You will also assist with proposal creation, managing the sales pipeline, and working closely with internal teams to achieve business objectives.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify potential clients through online research, databases, social media, and networking.
  • Generate qualified leads from platforms such as Upwork and Fiverr, as well as through outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls, events).
  • Maintain and grow a well-organized prospect database.

Client Outreach & Communication

  • Initiate professional communication with prospective clients.
  • Build and sustain trusted client relationships.
  • Prepare proposals, follow-up messages, and sales presentations.

Sales Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Update, track, and manage all client interactions and opportunities in CRM tools.
  • Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts.
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation of communication and opportunities.

Meetings & Presentations

  • Schedule and coordinate client calls, demos, and presentations.
  • Prepare presentation decks, agendas, and follow-up summaries.
  • Support senior team members during negotiations.

Business Research & Market Analysis

  • Conduct industry and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Provide insights on new markets, potential partnerships, and target segments.
  • Analyze data to support business development and sales strategies.

Proposal & Documentation Support

  • Assist in preparing proposals, RFQs, and RFP responses.
  • Coordinate with technical and marketing teams to create customized pitches.
  • Maintain organized templates and documentation for sales assets.

AI Tools & Workflow Automation

  • Use AI-driven tools to improve outreach, personalize communication, and manage lead nurturing.
  • Utilize productivity software for analytics, reporting, and engagement.

Collaboration & Operational Support

  • Work with the marketing team to ensure alignment between campaigns and sales goals.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver accurate client information and solutions.
  • Provide general administrative assistance for business development operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a similar field.
  • Additional coursework or certifications in business development, marketing, or sales are a plus.

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency required).
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (GHL & ClickUp preferred).
  • Understanding of AI tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outreach automation platforms.
  • Basic understanding of sales pipelines and the business development cycle.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with solid research skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

Experience

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Relationship roles.
  • Internships or academic projects in marketing or sales will also be considered.
