The Associate Buyer plays a key role in supporting both strategic and day-to-day procurement and supply chain operations. This position involves tactical purchasing, supplier engagement, ERP-based planning, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. In collaboration with the Senior Buyer, the Associate Buyer contributes to sourcing strategies, vendor management, and sustainability efforts aligned with site objectives.
This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional looking to grow within a collaborative team environment focused on cost optimization, supplier performance enhancement, and supply chain risk mitigation. It also offers exposure to cross-functional projects and serves as a pathway for career advancement within a global organization dedicated to innovation and sustainability.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Supply Chain Management or business administration related, preferred.
ASCM/APICS certification preferred. (CPIM or CSCP), within the last 5 years, preferred
Experience: 1-3 years’ experience, procurement or supply chain role. Understanding of supply chain/procurement process from requisition to receiving, Basic knowledge of purchasing processes, vendor relations, and inventory management. Experience working cross-functionally, Collaborating with planning, warehouse, quality, and engineering teams to support supply chain goals, preferred.
