Role Overview

As a Senior Category Manager, you will own the growth, quality, and performance of assigned categories on VRO. This role sits at the intersection of brands, catalogue, margins, and customer experience.

You are here to build categories like a business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Onboarding & Partnerships

· Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-quality men’s brands aligned with VRO’s curation philosophy

· Pitch VRO’s value proposition to founders and brand heads with clarity and confidence

· Drive exclusive launches, curated drops, and category-led partnerships

· Maintain strong long-term relationships with onboarded brands

2. Category Growth & Revenue Ownership

· Own GMV, margins, catalogue depth, and brand mix for assigned categories

· Identify high-margin, high-velocity SKUs and push visibility accordingly

· Work closely with brands to plan pricing, promotions, bundles, and launches

· Track category performance and take corrective actions where needed

3. Catalogue & Curation Excellence

· Ensure all listings meet VRO’s quality benchmarks (content, imagery, pricing, relevance)

· Avoid clutter by actively curating and pruning low-performing or non-aligned SKUs

· Build coherent category narratives instead of random product assortments

· Collaborate with the content team to maintain premium category presentation

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Work with Marketing on category campaigns, launches, and storytelling

· Coordinate with Ops & Catalogue teams for smooth onboarding and go-live

· Support Sales & Partnerships initiatives with category insights and data

· Act as the category voice internally

5. Data, Insights & Optimization

· Monitor daily and weekly category dashboards (GMV, margins, conversion, AOV)

· Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities using data and market observation

· Share actionable insights with leadership to improve category strategy

· Continuously refine category mix based on customer behavior

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
