About The Function
MakeMyTrip’s Hotels business plays a central role in delivering high-quality accommodation options across both domestic and international markets. The function works closely with hotel partners, pricing, revenue, and product teams to ensure wide selection, competitive pricing, and a seamless booking experience for customers. With a strong focus on supply strength, market expansion, and customer experience, the Hotels ecosystem is one of the largest and most critical growth engines for the organization.
Within this broader Hotels ecosystem, the International Hotels function manages and expands hotel supply across destinations outside India. The team works across global markets to curate a diverse and competitive portfolio of properties, ensuring depth, quality, and availability for Indian travellers. As part of this function, Category Management drives destination-specific strategies, tracks market performance, and maintains the right mix of properties across regions. The team collaborates closely with contracting, pricing, and analytics to deliver strong commercial outcomes and strengthen MakeMyTrip’s international presence.
About The Role
The incumbent will support key growth initiatives, the analytics charter, and performance management for the designated category within the International Hotels team. This role requires a strong techno-functional orientation and will serve as a central point of contact for various strategic projects. The incumbent will work closely with senior stakeholders across Supply, Revenue, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless execution and alignment of category objectives.
What Will You Be Doing

Owning and tracking end-to-end performance of International Hotels for the assigned destinations.

Measuring and improving key output metrics such as Room Nights, GMV, GRASP, Visits, and Conversion .

Executing projects to strengthen input levers including Ranking, Filters, Hyper-locations, Points of Interest, City Maps & Boundaries, Indianness , and overall content quality.

Applying consumer understanding, especially how Indian travellers behave in international markets and identifying gaps related to location, cuisine preferences, accessibility, and other key considerations.

Providing actionable insights and driving execution of multiple projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams, with the ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven recommendations.

Building, maintaining, and tracking MIS dashboards and business intelligence reports across performance metrics.
Qualification & Experience

MBA from a reputed institute with 1–3 years of experience in category management, marketing, or strategy.

Demonstrated success in demand generation, funnel optimization, and driving business outcomes through data-backed decision-making.
