Job Overview:
The Specialist, Chng of Events is responsible for monitoring and completing Change of Circumstance COC requests submitted from the Broker and other Departments from within the company, based on changes made to the loan, or additional requirements as the loan is being underwritten and reviewed. This position will apply RESPA and REG Z rules and requirements to ensure all re-disclosures packages are compliant.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and monitor group inbox and daily report.
- Review COC request and validate if compliant, so GFE can be re-disclosed within allowable time frame.
- Review previously disclosed GFE and Lakewood (Operating System) data to determine what changes need to be entered into the system to generate new GFE.
- Validate fees and enter all required changes.
- Review and enter fees based on title invoice or prelim HUD.
- Allocate of Seller paid closing costs and over par credits to the HUD settlement fees.
- Print GFE/APR re-disclosure package (depending on system requirement) to review (compare side by side with last disclosed GFE) to validate all changes are reflected and accurate.
- Approve and send re-disclosure package.
- Run Pred-Protect, if failing need to determine why and add appropriate condition to file to notify Broker- and send email to Broker documenting test.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Qualification & Experience
Educational qualification and years of experience required in any specific domain/skill for the role:
- Basic Degree completion (15 years of education). Or 12 Class + working experience in Indexing and Extraction in Archwell / Moder.
- Average written and oral communications skills.
- Minimum 1 year if working experience in US mortgage industry.
- Must have knowledge of what fees are APR and non APR.
- He / She should be familiar with all US mortgage documents which will help them to classify and extract the documents.
- Support their Team leaders in clearing priority queues to meet the client KPI.
- Should be willing to work in a 24*7 working environment – Rotational Shift and Rotational Weekly Offs.
- Candidate may have to work overtime as per business need.
- Ability to prioritize multiple and often conflicting priorities and organize work to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong time management skills to achieve follow through on claims requirements within timeframe allotted.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with internal and external clients at all levels of the organization.
