BACKGROUND
The Hans Foundation, established in 2009, is a Public Charitable Trust that works for the improvement of quality of life for underprivileged communities across India through Health, Education, Livelihood and Disability sector interventions. THF undertakes direct implementation of projects on the ground in addition to providing funding support to not-for-profit organizations in India through its donor – RIST, USA. THF’s Strategic planning focuses on key areas of its work with the aim of addressing the key issues of poverty alleviation, economic inequalities, and 360° impact on the quality of life through social development programs. THF’s programs are majorly implemented in the most rural and under-developed areas in the country. Over the years, THF has expanded its charitable activities in collaboration with State and Central Governments, institutions, corporates, academia and non-government organizations for sustainable interventions to achieve scale and economy. The interventions implemented by the foundation range from grass root level to national level programs.

1. JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for a passionate and proactive social media & content professional to join our communications team at The Hans Foundation. The role involves managing daily social media operations, coordinating content collection, handling event and IEC logistics, and supporting the Communications Manager with vendor coordination and performance reporting.
Candidate needs to have a problem-solving approach, work in a fast-paced environment, and be highly accountable and outcome driven.
2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
A. Social Media Operations
Develop and execute a monthly content calendar, schedule posts across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
Write engaging captions, hooks, and hashtags; maintain ORM; upload meta business suite
Manage community engagement by responding to comments and direct messages following a defined response matrix, escalating risks appropriately.
Support monthly dashboard preparations covering social media reach, engagement rates, retention, click-through rates, and performance of top creative assets.
B. Content Intake and Management
Coordinate with program or regional teams to gather raw multimedia assets, quotes, images, case studies/stories, consent forms, and translations.
Provide clear briefs to the Multimedia team regarding platform specifications and deadlines, tracking workflow status regularly.
Travel to implementation sites pan India as and when required, to collect content, support multimedia productions and other communications related requirements
C. IEC Material and Events Support
Collate program requirements; draft briefs for IEC materials outlining audience, key messages, literacy levels, icons, languages.
Coordinate event logistics including vendor management, printing timelines, delivery, setup documentation, and manage live social media updates.
D. Vendor/Agency Coordination and Administrative Support
Prepare Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Scope of Work (SOWs); coordinate purchase orders and invoice processing.
Track vendor Service order, gather feedback, finalize project closures, and archive deliverables.
Educational Qualifications
Masters in English Literature/Communication/Journalism or a related field preferred.
Functional / Technical Skills and Relevant Experience & Other requirements (Behavioral, Language, Certifications etc.).
Familiarity with social media platforms, and tools such as Hootsuite, Canva, Mailchimp, SurveyMonkey etc.
Knowledge of print production processes and design for print
Manages the content calendar, including copywriting, captions, and publishing.
Tracks and reports analytics for performance insights.
Provides live/event coverage and updates.
Supports IEC/event logistics and vendor coordination.
Ensures timely, on-brand execution while maintaining alignment with the Manager’s strategy and quality standards.
Tools & Skills Required
Experience with platform schedulers (e.g., Meta Business Suite).
Familiarity with YouTube Studio and Google Workspace.
Ability to maintain Sheets trackers for workflow and reporting.
Basic Canva skills (resizing, quick edits, layout adjustments).
Strong coordination and documentation abilities.
Knowledge of Hindi is a must, and other regional languages is an added advantage.
