About The Role
The Communications & Learning Program Associate supports internal communication efforts and learning & development programs across the Digital organization. This role is ideal for early-career professionals passionate about employee engagement, continuous learning, and enabling their team members to excel.
What You Will Do

Draft and distribute announcements, emails, and other types of communication. Assist in leaders’ messaging, including developing presentations and coaching team members to communicate clearly and concisely.

Lead digital-related communications for Automotive and Digital, support organizational change management, coordinate with Harman University on training needs & logistics.

Investigate the Learning & Development needs of members of the organization and create internal training plans, with manager support as needed, which may include introducing new processes or tools and upskilling.

Draft training materials and create curated training paths. Track attendance and feedback, support facilitators, and recommend improvements.

Help organize All Hands meetings, workshops, and employee engagement events, which may include drafting presentations and leading/supporting logistics for these events.

Create and maintain our library of images, templates, boilerplate text, etc.

Provide dynamic updates to the automotive digital hub page content.
What You Need To Be Successful

Strong writing and editing skills with attention to tone and clarity, along with expertise in Word and PowerPoint.

Experience in a corporate setting and comfort interacting with people at all levels of the organization.

Excellent organizational abilities.

Confidence working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments, often with ambiguity and requiring the ability to pivot.

Empathy for colleagues in different circumstances, enabling you to tailor materials to their needs.
Bonus Points if You Have

Basic instructional design or training coordination experience.

Organizational change management experience.

Demonstrated project management experience.

Proficiency in Adobe and or SharePoint.

Experience in global, multi-cultural companies.
What Makes You Eligible

Willing to travel, if necessary.

Because this is a hybrid role, commuting to the nearest Harman office will be required each week.

Willingness to flex business hours as needed to support activities in the Novi, Michigan, USA office and occasionally other time zones.
