Associate - Construction (Front-End) & Projects

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Associate to join our Construction & Infrastructure Practice , focusing exclusively on front-end construction and projects work . This is NOT a construction disputes role . The successful candidate will play a key role in advising clients on major infrastructure and development projects, drafting and negotiating contracts, and providing strategic legal advice throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on all aspects of front-end construction and project development.
• Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, consultancy agreements, and related documentation.
• Provide strategic legal advice on procurement strategies, risk allocation, and project delivery models.
• Work closely with clients to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality legal solutions.
• Manage matters proactively with minimal supervision and contribute to business development initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ PQE as a qualified lawyer.
• Specialist experience in front-end construction/projects legal advice .
• Trained and practiced with a recognized construction team (in-house or private practice).
• Strong academic background.
• Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Regional experience is not essential , but an interest in Middle East projects is advantageous.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
